An important objective is that systems to be installed (protocols, sensors, etc) should not be owned. Standards are being used so that any company can come to Águeda and set up its demonstrator. A platform is being developed which will manage all the information collected and sent to Águeda Local Authority and thereafter made available to residents in a comprehensible form, so that everyone can think about the information and contribute to the town’s future.
